Fashion: Walks by the Canal

Hello everyone!

Back at it again with a new post! firstly hellooooo Spring, finally. Can we please pay attention to how sunny these pictures look, definitely the warmest day of the year so far. Then it hit me I have no S/S clothing at all. Like at all. Everything is back home in Scotland has I only really have room here for my winter clothing. Believe it or not Jumpers take up a lot of space, a lot.

Its my birthday month guys!!! Next week is going to be lit, I have even bought a pink suit for the occasion, go big or go home right? I'm sure it will be featured in a blog post soon. I was never a pink girl but all of a sudden spring has sprung and now I am all about dem pastels.

Jacket: Zara £39.99
Top: H&M £14.99
Belt: Boohoo £12.99
Trousers: Missguided £22
Boots: Missguided £35
Sunglasses: Urban Outfitters £16

Right easily distracted, back to this post, last weekend I was dying to make the most of the weather and went to explore one of my favourite spots in London, Camden. Particularly the canals, its so peaceful and other worldly there. You wouldn't believe you were in London. And with this I adorned myself in black...told you I ain't got nothing. Felt a little bit like Wednesday Adams, but thats never a bad thing right? I picked up this top from H&M not too long ago and by top I mean dress. I love these types of clothing that you can adjust to whatever style you feel that day.

Now this belt. Its defo either a hit or a miss. I love the western style hence the boots however when I ordered this 'suede effect' belt from Boohoo I did not expect it to be this big. When I wear it the belt wears me if you know what I mean. I love Boohoo though so I have decided to keep it and it actually wears really nicely and I know I will get a lot of use out of it throughout summer.

Lets hope this weekend is just as nice!
See you lot in my next post

Fashion: Joseph and The Technicolour Dreamcoat

Hello everyone!

Imagine Joseph's technicolour dreamcoat, redesigned into a trouser top two piece and voila here I am.

Basically on one of my trips home, me and the mother headed off to Tesco for our late night midnight junkfood stop and I noticed these snazzy (dad word) trousers. These badboys are from Tesco and are legit amazing! My friend this week picked up a Acne esque jacket from Sainsbury's, lucky thing, Supermarkets are stepping up their game kids. Topshop do a very similar pair if you are more into the splurge. However it is my dream to be able to pick up clothes, baked goods and a roast chicken all at the same time. Saturday night dreams.

Having stalked blogger and confidence queen Freddie Harrel since 2013, I thought to myself, what would Freddie do... I had no faux fur so the clash was the next best thing, splash on some colour and boom. I will leave a link to her blog here.

So this week good old London decided to surprise us with 2 beautiful days of sunshine and some relative heat. With this I realised that my 15 pairs of sunglasses would not suffice and picked up these rose gold tinted shades from H&M, I love them! Well worth the Oxford Circus struggle. Also my photographer is well chuffed you can see him in the shades. He has reached ultimate 'cool' status. MySpace profile picture please.

Sunglasses: H&M £7.99
Top: Missguided £22 Now on sale!
Trousers: Tesco £14.99
Heels: Missguided £34.99
Hoops: Urban Outfitters £9.99

I am surprised at how easily I can wear this, it is a bit crazy but its nice to shake things up sometimes especially now with spring summer just round the corner. Well it better be just round the corner.

I'm sorry my posts haven't been as regular recently these past few weeks have been crazy with friends, family and work being so hectic. However I have planned some posts in the pipeline so that I don't neglect you beautiful people again!

Also as I am apologising please ignore the massive sticker on our door, gotta do what you gotta do.

Thanks for reading guys! I am now away to bathe in fake tan as I am so aware of how pale I am.
Byes!

Fashion: Introducing My New Baby

Hello everyone!

Now, I would just like to take this opportunity to introduce to my blogging community the newest edition to my more than welcoming wardrobe. This beautiful suede biker from ASOS, new, soft, silky and hella cool. Its a really nice oversized look without it being drowning on my 5ft 1 self. I have been looking for a cream/camel suede jacket for ages and then I noticed this and threw it in my saved items list instantly. For weeks I kept revisiting my page to see if it was discounted, does anyone else do this??? Then one day ASOS had a flash sale of 20% off everything, dreams do come true kids. I also had a cheeky £40 voucher to spend so I picked up this bad boy for such a reasonable price. I have realised living in London makes you pretty precious about your pennies so you can't be throwing that coin away so easily. I love it so much and its the perfect colour to go with all my wardrobe, only problem with it being real suede is if the sky even has the slightest chance of being moist... I have to cancel on my poor baby.

So sorry for being pretty much silent these past 2 weeks, I work full time during the week so weekends are my shooting days and last week I went home to visit my family and the weekend before I had my friends round. Hopefully the next couple of weeks will be a bit more quiet so that I can chuck up some posts for you lovely lot!

Sunglasses: Urban Outfitters £16
Jacket: ASOS £95 bought for £35
Top: Urban Outfitters £32
Culottes: New Look £11
Boots: ASOS £45

As you can see from the rest of the outfit black is still a firm favourite, I always feel lost in spring because I love dark colours so much and have been wearing them for months then suddenly all this pastel is thrown in your face. Plus I really do not suit pastel. I just look even more pale.

These striped culottes however have been like a second skin to me, another New Look sale bargain £11 and yet fit and look like a dream. I also feel slightly less like a nun as those risque ankles are on show, calm down Chloe. In case anyone is interested my lipstick is Bobbi Brown Nourishing lip lipstick in Coral Pop, gorgeous colour!

These photos were taken on possibly the hottest day of this year a solid 16 degrees you go London! Shine through! It made the whole photo taking experience a lot more pleasant than what I am used too. Speaking of pleasant, I've just finished baking a cheesecake so I better check on that iced gem, have an amazing week guys!

Thanks for reading, see you soon!
