Looking Like An Extra From the Jungle Book

Hello everyone!

Hope everything is going really good with all of you, sorry again for being stupidly slow on keeping you guys up to date. I guess its just blogger takes so long for just one blogpost. Honestly if you want to keep more updated and faster its much better on instagram mines is chloejade_28.

I have accepted I will not be the 3x a week blogger, those bloggers are Gods, how they do it I have no idea! Never mind the ones that do it everyday. Jeeeez.

This post may have to be a quick one as I have an early shoot I am styling tomorrow and I still haven't decided outfits. Organisation is not my strongest point haha. So this outfit is another Missguided number, its the stuff I bought with the £50 I won. The jacket for a start is VERY loud. Its one of those love it or avoid it ones. Even I struggle to wear it, especially in Aberdeen. You get a lot of funny looks for maybe branching out of the colours black, white or our infamous grey. The quality of the fabric on this blazer is amazeballs and it fits perfectly round my shoulders too which is rare as I'm petite, (dwarf), especially on my top half. It is extremely summery but I think I would still wear it in winter and probably just be a bit crazy and put fur with it too!

Blazer: Missguided £34.99
Dress: Missguided £19.99
Sunglasses: Urban Outfitters £16
Sandals: River Island
Bag: H&M £14.99
Necklaces: Topshop £14 (both)

The dress I can't even explain, my addiction to neon needs to stop, I don't even like it anymore ahaha. I feel like a magpie to it now! Help.Me. But it is a great shape, especially if you're feeling like a whale, IT HIDES EVERYTHING.

I'm still loving my pink hair, Its about as daring as it gets for me when it comes to hair. I've starting getting super excited about LFW. Outfits are already getting planned but I'm planning on packing super light so I need to be SAVVY!

Hope next week is even better for you guys!

See you.

Florals For Summer...Groundbreaking

Hello all!

How have you all been this past week? Hopefully its been a good one. So basically I've had yet another mad week, I won the Missguided #iammissguided competition SO over the moon it was unreal. Plus I got a cheeky £50 voucher to spend and I will have to let you all know what pretty things I got. So because of that I've decided to dedicate this look to Missguided as everything I'm wearing is more or less from there. Also if you voting for me in the competition THANK YOU x1000000, it was so flattering.

But enough rambling on, I have planned myself a rather busy month, good one Chloe, I love being lazy. hopefully I will be back working with my previous placement for 3 weeks before their big collection reveal on 6th of September down at the Lighthouse in Glasgow, defo come if you can make it! Plus say hi if you see me :).

Plus I am planning on going down to LFW to represent them and have a wee nosy at all the exciting things that are happening around that time. Don't talk to me about outfits as I have nooooooo clue. Normally I plan these things but I can tell this year it will be a mad dash.
PLUS I also have a possible new adventure coming up but its still in the pipeline so I'll have to wait first. So yeah, Aug/Sept will be busy haha.

Kimono: Missguided £24.99

I literaly cannot wait for the new season trends coming out,a lot are just new developments on last year trends which is a bit disapointing but my favourites are for sure going to be punk, checks/tartan, and maybe the whole country look. One thing is for sure I hate the candy hues, blergh does nothing for me. Even though I have given it a slight nod to my ends now being pink, tell me if you guys like it, I'm still unsure :/.

One more thing, do you guys want to see me have my outfits photographed else where in different places or do you like the same set up each time :)?

Its a super nice day out and I'm off work for once so I'm going to run outside and play like a kid!

see you all soon.

I Was Born In A Flower

Hello everyone!

I have just realised now how wrong my title is....however I cannot be assed changing it so it will have to remain. Moving very quickly on, how are you all? This summer so far has been great but already I am getting very bored, I am one of those people that constantly needs projects or else I feel a little useless :/. Or I just eat. Pretty sure I help keep Jaffa cakes going.

My clothing obsession has currently taken over my life. For real this time. I have now started budgeting so that I survive through the entire month and this week I spent the whole budget on clothes so I will not have a social life for the next week. Smart Chloe. Smart. Least I will have a pretty new delivery soon :D.

I must admit I am getting pretty sick of the high street, I love the fact you can see and touch the clothing compared to online stores, but nothing is original or HELL YEAH YOU GOTTA GET THIS. I am starting to majorly convert to spending all my clothes money online, which sucks because I can't try any of it on. Plus I'm an optimistic and always buy a size 8, then sigh in disgust as it doesn't fit, obviously. I will learn. I will.

So I decided to pay homage to the great weather we have been having and wear an entirely floral outfit. Why not. I wasn't sure if the camera would be able to pick up on all the prints that are going on but it does the job. I actually love this outfit even if it is a little out there. The one thing I would change is I really really really want one of those Grafea ruck sacks in white, so I think this outfit would look better if I had one. Check out their site here, at your own risk.

Bomber Jacket: H&M £29.99
Shirt: Warehouse £45
Trousers: H&M £17.99 (I think)
Heels: Primark £12
Clutch: New Look £19.99
Necklace: Dorothy Perkins £25

Oh, I've entered the #iammissguided competition so please vote for me on instagram :), my name is chloejade_28 and its me wearing this outfit but the one where I am sitting down. MUCH APPRECIATED. I think if you win you get £250 in vouchers. wow.

Also if you aren't already remember to follow me on bloglovin so you don't miss out and also so that I remember to follow you back as I am a nightmare at remembering!

Hope you guys are keeping cool out there.

See yas

GET YO THUNDER BUDDY OOT!

Hello everybody!

Now these pictures are slightly outdated as this was taken on the Friday of last week before all this weather madness appeared and it was just mid heatwave. Not going to lie I was hoping the mad thunder last night would clear the fog away but it hasn't. Fog is the worst, makes me feel so bleh. I must admit I AM THE BIGGEST WIMP EVER. Stayed up until about 2am last night as the thunder was sooooooo bad, I always make up mad senarios like its the end of the world or that the lightning is going to come through my roof or aliens are coming. Crazy I know but my poor brain is busy making plans for each disaster haha. All I wanted was sleep...

Weather aside I'm so happy as I have just booked my plane tickets to LONDON TOWN in september for some work with Saunt & Sinner and LFW. I'm so excited I might just pee myself. So much adventures will be made, hopefully I can stalk some of my favourite bloggers too!

Kimono: River Island was £45 now £15
Bralet: Topshop £28
Dress (worn as skirt): Miss Selfridge £32
Heels: Next £25
Bag: Zara was £49.99 now £39.99
Sunglasses: Urban Outfitters £16
Necklace: New look £8
Bracelet: H&M £4.99

So basically this year I majorly missed out on the festival vibe, totally gutted I never booked anything as I've basically bought the wardrobe for it and just visioned I was there in spirit as I work in my part time retail job. Puke. But I found this absolute BEAUTY of a bargain in the River Island sale the other day, I love love love kimonos, they are completely gorgeous and I have had my eye on this one previously I just couldn't afford to give £45 over for something so 'fancy dress'. Fate made it happen and I got this for only £15 and in my favourite colour yellow too. The world loved me that day.

I am still loving that Zara bag, told you I would literally wear it everyday and these glasses have pretty much been glued to my eyes whilst this summer melt a thon has been happening. Squinty eyes is not a good look. I must admit this bralet and skirt combo was a complete diaster, the skirt is actually a dress but it was too hot to wear it so I decided to tie the sleeves in a bow at the front then chuck on this bralet, however as you can tell I got this top when I was a bout 16 maybe and the boobies obviously hadn't grown fully but my oh my they are practically bursting out so walking in down with the mother that day was an interesting one. Yay.

Well I hope you guys all had thunder buddies with yous and are loving this mad weather we are having,

see you lot soon!

P.s cannot believe they didn't call the baby Corneilious. What a waste.

I Wanna Be A Pink Lady

Hello everyone!

So remember how I said I hated pink....not so much now. So recently because I had a mad haul in Primark, you can tell its the end of the month can't you, I found this dress. Now the colour put me off to begin with but the fit and cut is AMAZING! Plus its the perfect lightweight material I need in this weather. My body does not cope well in this heat no matter how exotic I think I am. I actually had a dream the other night that I was a mermaid just so that I could be cool under water. WHY WE HAVE NO AIRCON?!?!?! Okay so I have gone on a slight tangent here, back to zee dress. 1. its ace, 2. get it and 3. its £13. Also florals will never be out of trend in summer, 'Florals, for summer? Groundbreaking.'

Now I have to mention the hair, this is either a love or hate it style, its rather 90s but tbh it really is for practical reasons I need my LONG fringe away from my face in this weather but I like my hair down. Not interesting is it?

I went to see Monsters University the other day, I have been a Disney fan since I was 5, literally based my entire values upon those films so I had to see it! Was not thankfully disappointed, there was not a moment where I wasn't laughing harder than any of the kids in the cinema. I'm proud of this.

Shirt: Primark £13
Dress: Primark £13
Necklace: Wallis £15
Belt: Zara £19.99
Sunglasses: Outfit £8
Heels: Next £25
Bag: Forever 21 £14.99

This outfit is insanely girlie so sorry if you are feeling pukey with it!

I wore this outfit just for a celebratory lunch with my sister and mum as we were congratulating her on her new job. Which reminds me I have some BIG BIG BIG exciting stuff happening in sept, that I shall share later ;).

All I can say really is , wear yo suncream, put on anti-perspirant, eat icecream and get NAKED!

Enjoy the weather folks!

I Feel I Should Have Had A Whippy Today...

Hello everyone!

AHHHHHH, how amazing is this weather? I have had the best day today, my sister has come up from the Scottish boarders to visit so that meant one thing....crazy golf championships. I NAILED IT! In a competitive family this is a BIG deal.

Also had a wee cheeky lunch by the beach, one of Aberdeen's only plus feature is its beach, it is really nice to see the sea whenever you want. EXCEPT the rabid seaguls that try and eat your face. No joke it thought my nose was a chip. Well I was using the chip as a tashe, table manners 10/10.

Shirt: Primark £10
Dress (worn as skirt): £45
Belt: Zara £19.99
Shoes: River Island £55
Bag: Zara £39.99
Sunglasses: Urban Outfitters £16

So I went on a mad Primark spree the other day, I'm not usually a mad Primark fan but atm its doing so good and super cheap. This 60s style Grease shirt was only a tenner! Plus you know how much I love a collar. I've also been loving the 90s feel hence this mad half pony tail thats lying on my face, but it keeps my hair away which is a plus on a hot day. Lastly I got a dress in there for £5, how cray cray also its tweed so sturdy material too.

I think blue looks good on blonde hair, I never wear pink as I literally look 5 years old and a barbie in one... so a 6 year old slut basically. Not a great look. Also for some reason this weather is making me listen to Nelly (Plaster era) why???

LETS HOPE THE SUN CONTINUES!

See you soon buddies :)

xx
