Festival Inspiration

Hello everyone!

Sorry again for almost a whole months absence but right now I am in the beautiful city of London. My future play town. I have literally just finished a fashion PR internship down here so blogging has been slightly halted. Boo. However I have been taking outfit snaps here and there when there has been a good back ground much to my photographers dismay. My bad. But if you want to see them now you can always head over to Instagram which is chloejade_28 if you waaaanna.

The weather down here has been absolutely stunning and its almost been like a little summer holiday, great for weekends, not so much during the week when you are heading to an office. It was so sunny yesterday it justified a water fight I felt more like a kid than usual. With all this fine weather it geniunely has made me regret not buying into the whole festival phase that summer is ALLLLL about I really regret not going to one. Next year is a must. So I decided to do a festival inspired OOTD instead, less muddy!

As you can see this Van Helsing hat is still a firm favourite and is perfect if the weather takes a funny turn and decides to have a little shower! I really love the boho vibe that the festival season brings out it makes everyones style that little bit more effortless and relaxed which I enjoy. I am obsessed with florals so anything from ditzy to big and clashing I am all over. But I always feel a bit too girly if I wear flowers only so with this I have tried to give it more of a gyspy vibe and chuck on a easy paisley kimono and a lace underskirt to give it a romantic yet lived in feel.

Hat: Boohoo £12
Kimono: Primark £8
Slip dress: Red Herring £32
Lace dress (worn underneath): Miss Selfridge £45
Sandals: Primark £6
Necklace: Topshop £13
Belt: Primark £5
Bag: Primark £8

This is such a comfortable outfit especially the ugly shoes however I feel these would be pretty useless in a muddy field. But if you were hungover and in need of something to throw on that wasn't a hoody then this outfit fits.

You may have noticed I am loving Primark lately. Just can't help it. Its everyones guilty pleasure. Hope you guys all have a great week!

See ya!

Some Co-ordination Please

Hi everyone

Hopefully you have all had an awesome weekend, remember how I was saying how amazing the weather has been. I stand corrected this week/weekend has been the worst ever non stop rain and clouds. Eurgh. Thankfully I have been babysitting a certain little puppy all weekend and as much as I love her MY GAWD is a puppy not hard work, you literally have to keep a watch 24/7.

London is only 5 more days to go yay, my plan is to take some blog photos when I am down there in between my internship so this blog keeps on going. It is also very very very hot which is precisely what I need after this wet summer. These photos were taken around a week ago when it was sunny and it was the perfect weather to sport this floral number. The first thing I noticed about this co-ord set is the colour. Not normally the first colour I would go for but it looks so goooooooooood with my skin tone and with the print itself. ALSO its from Newlook, say whaaaaat? Honestly not the first shop I go for but this season its hit the nail on the head so go check it out.

Jacket: Urban Outfitters £80
Top: NewLook £18
Shirt: Topshop £35
Shorts: £18
Sunglasses: Primark £2
Heels: Primark £12
Clutch: Zara £19.99

Co-ords are great as they have the ease of dresses but with the comfort of wearing shorts. Win win. Sorry this post has had to be pretty quick but its father's day and the wee pup is literally nibbling at my laptop charger. BYE!

Hats Off To You

Hello everyone!

I thought for today's post I would play around with a different camera and I must admit its crazy the quality difference in the photos so I hope you like them :).

Basically I have wanted one of these hats for as long as I can remember but I could never find one that would look okay on such a small pea head or one that wasn't too 'out there', its Aberdeen we are dealing with. This little beauty from Boohoo is so goooooooooood. Boohoo isn't normally my first choice but at the moment I was really surprised at their selection and the prices have still remained so affordable. I do get a few strange glances wearing this bad boy but I am heading down to London in around 10 days for another internship this time only for two weeks and I am crazy looking forward to it and the hats coming too! I've missed London so much. The best thing about London is that there is always something interesting going on and so much people to see and meet.

Hat: Boohoo £12
Mac: H&M £39.99
Jacket: Primark £18
Shirt: Urban Outfitters £35
Skirt: Karen Millen £85
Necklace: Forever 21 £12.99
Clutch: Primark £8

Remember that skirt from the last post well....I found the jacket version and I just had too. I haven't braved the whole 2 piece thing yet as I 'may' look a tad bit too wall paper. But you never know.

This jacket is my ALL TIME FAVE for the lighter months, perfect weight, length and colour. Plus it was an absolute steal from H&M. Lastly I hope you like the orange touches in this outfit as I think even if the weather isn't at its best orange is such a summery colour.

So at the moment I have just been spending way to much time at the beach and eating out...healthy eating starts tomorrow. Maybe.

See you soon guys.

Stressed But Well Dressed

Hello everyone!

So the only think I can really say is...I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaaaack. Sorry for my massive absence this entire year but I genuinely could not work full time being an intern and blog, I salute the women that do both.

I don't know what it is this year but blogging has turned SERIOUSLY professional, like the blogs I am following at the moment mean serious business. I got to be honest, I love it! My favorites have to be WhatOliviaDid, WishWishWish, Llymlrs, PagesByMegan and FashionInflux, serious style and creativity points right there girls. I cannot wait to see the results from the Company Blogger of the year, should be interesting. Any excuse for me to find some new talent too, nothing better than discovering a new blog.

So with all this blogging inspiration going around its really made me want to kick start my own again and refresh my style a little. Swedish bloggers have taken over the fashion scene in a BIG way so for this little outfit of the day I tried to take some style points from there minimalistic and chic approach to fashion. Although I did feel I may have went a tad too far and might ever so slightly look like a member of the Italian mafia, but mum said I looked 'Profesh', which says it all really.

Blazer: Forever 21 £18.75 (I think)
Shirt: Mango £34.99
Trousers: Mothers...
Heels: Zara £45.99
Clutch: Zara £19.99
Sunglasses: Camden £6.75

I got this cheeky little blazer in Forever 21 when I was staying in London and absolutely looooooooooved it, I was really tempted to get the pastel pink in this but resisted the temptation and went for the blue instead as I always feel pink with my blonde hair can sometimes make me look younger than I already am. Which is around 12. This way I am still dipping into the pastel trend without going too overboard.

I still can't decide if I look like an air hostess though...

These trousers believe it or not are an old relic of my mothers, ( 2 mentions on the blog today mum, you're doing good),  they are a bit hit or miss as they are boot cut but anything high waisted and pale to me is a WIN WIN, plus the material on these are gorgeous.

Lastly the shirt is from Mango and is literally the biggest wardrobe lifesaver ever, this goes with anything! Only drawback is that it creases insanely and I am faaaaaaaaar to lazy for an iron, cue hair straightening disaster.

Hopefully this is me back into the swing of things now and have a great week guys :)

You Better Check Yo Checks

Hello everyone!

Okay so another late post, but I actually have a good excuse this time. I AM LIVING IN LONDON BABAY! So with all the travelling and finishing uni until 4th year I haven't really had time. But I did manage to squeeze in some cheeky photos for you all.

I am living with my buddy while I do my internship, so she will be taking over the photography which will be interesting... But if I can train the members of my family I can teach anyone!

So the photos will look a little bit different from now on, they won't have the same backdrop which will be a nice change I think. I am hoping to do my posts on a sunday as its my only day off and the day I get to reeeeeaaally explore London so I will get some ootd posts in.

So this post will just have to be a quick one tonight as its only mid week through my first week of placement and I am sleeeeeeeeeeeepy. You may notice from these photos that I am loving monochrome again, and checks. Just a tad.

Black Jacket: Primark £20

Righteyo I am off to bed now. 20 past 9! I know crazy!

But guys you do not understand the pains it is to travel in BOTH rush hour times in the tube. The amount of times I have accidently, kissed, sat, punched and been absorbed into someones belly button is UNREAL.

See you soon!

I Finally Got a Pink Coat

Hey everyone!

I'm hoping this week so far has been full of festive fun?! First off I am so so so soooo sorry for my complete lack of posts recently. I am a disgrace. Its just this time of year is manic for me between courseworks and my part time job PLUS xmas shopping and getting my placement sorted my blog had to be put on hold. :(.

However through all that craziness I finally got myself a placement, and its at the most perfect internship ever! A marketing intern at OU, literally my dream job. So I will be moving down to London town around mid January time, cannot contain my excitement!

Jacket: Primark £15
Shirt (worn underneath): Asos £35
Wrap blouse:  H&M £15.99
Trousers: Missguided £21.99
Heels: Primark £12
Bag: River Island £15
Necklace: Topshop £16.50

Hows everyone doing with their Christmas shopping? I have done amazing so far, I have a grand total of...0. Typical Chloe every year the same, one of my biggest flaws is that I give the worst presents. So I'm in town all day Friday, I'm braving the mad crowds in the hope I get all my shopping down succesfully. Wishful thinking I know.

Now the main reason to blame for my lack of gifts buying is because I keep getting distracted and seeing things for myself! Such a curse. One lucky steal is this Primark coat which I LOVE and I've been hunting for a pink coat for ages and this was only £15. Boom. You wouldn't believe the compliments I've had because of this bad boy.

Any one know what to wear for newyear yet? I've no idea. Its the same every year, not a clue. I know one thing is certain this clutch is defo getting worn how amazing is it?! I love it to death, I've wanted a holographic one for ages but the colours on this are just perfect, never been a fan of the silver ones.

Oh gawd that really sad emotionally charity advert about Savethechildren just came on. KILLS ME EVERYTIME.

And with that happy note I'm off, see you all soon!
