What Is This? I'm Wearing Jeans...Say Whaaaa?

Hello all!

Hope your week is going by fast so that you can be unleashed at the weekend buddies. Mine is super fast and I cannot believe I'm journeying on the train tomorrow at 6.30am. Puke. Way too early man. However Stirling here I come, I'm so excited to check out what Stirling has to offer!

THE SALES ARE NOW AND TRUELY ON. Yet I am not paid, sad times, I always stare in amazement when I see people still surviving during the last week of the month. At this stage I'm practically begging on the streets.

So If you follow me on Instagram you would have noticed I had a cheeky trip to Blackpool with the family. I know its meant to be really tacky etc but I seriously love it! Like everything is exactly the same since the 60s or something. Plus its all old people which is seriously cute, especially when you see them all holding hands. I'm a sucker for oldies.  I even braved myself to go up the tower which I was immensly proud of...until my dad forced me into the glass wall bit and squished my face onto it. Lovely image for fellow tourists. I also made a new friend my the name of Bernie the duck, I seriously tried to take him home with me. Oh and lastly it was 26 degrees!

Blazer: Topshop £50
Top: Missguided £14.99
Jeans: River Island £45 Sale £25
Heels: Primark £12
Hat: Topshop £25
Sunglasses: Next £16
Rings: All H&M £4.99

Now I know this is crazy but I am actually wearing jeans here. I know shock right. I normally hate jeans because I hate the fabric, I just always feel like its really rough on my skin PLUS everyone wears denim jeans and it can get boring. Now I'm not sure if I suit these but the boyfriend fit on them is so comfy and the ripped denim lets of a really laid back feel. So out of my comfort zone I go.

The next part I have to say is how amazeballs is this white blazer from Topshop, AH! I love it I have wanted to have one for ages, I also wanted to wear it naked underneath but I dont think that is happening anytime soon, I ain't brave enough for that yet, ask me when I'm 60.

The top I have on is from Missguided which has to be one of my favourite brands, they get a lot of stick about customer service but I have had nothing but great service from them, and if anything goes wrong they are quick to sort it out plus give out a discount. Check out their new stock here.

Last thing before I go is I HAVE A SUNGLASSES OBSESSION help me...

Hopefully there is more sun for you guys!
P.s Sorry for looking so pouty and moody ahaha.

See you soon.

Sales Ruin My Life...

Hellooo all!

Another week another story, so I actually got INTO BUSINESS BOOTCAMP!!!! You are now offically looking at the new entrepreneur from Aberdream. However slight slight slight catch, I am the least professional person around. Handshakes? what handshakes, I like hugs. Business language? What business language, I prefer slang and jokes. Suits? What suits, I prefer onesies or the occasionally mad dive into a fancy dress shop. This venture may eat me up as the presentation, proposals and conferencing I am expected to do may kill me, nevertheless you gotta do what you gotta do. Plus if they read my application they will already be prepared for the nut that I am.

MOoooooving on, I have been very bad and have been spending like a crazy mofo recently probably for the lack of festivals and holidays I am getting this year :(. Working in retail does not help either, I seen this maxi ages ago from Miss Selfridge and loved it so much that I bought it, BUT THE BIGGEST FEAR OF ALL HAPPENED...it went into sale. This always happens to me and it is one of the biggest pains of my life. Now its only £25 wahhhhhhhh...I hate sales as an addict my pain is re lived as I see all my purchases slashed. From bad to good however is this cami top from Topshop normally leopard print ain't my thaaang but this is YELLOW!!! It was selling out super quick so I snatched up one quick and now I love it and I may even clash it with other pieces in the future.

It finally feels like summer now doesn't it? I just can't wait to spend the summer days having picnics, high teas, wild nights out, traveling with my besties, whilst finding cute stuff to buy for you guys. Tell me about what you are doing this summer in the comments below :D.

Is That You Alice?

Hello all!

Man this week is killing me I'm pressuming all my fellow students out there are currently either a)living in the library, b) eating their weight in junk food whilst crying into a pile of pop tarts or c) past the point of caring and have adopted 'YOLO' as their life mantra.

Had my first exam this morning and THANK THE LORD the only two topics I revised came up hurrah! I also got a super cute 21st present from my favourite fashionista's hopefully it shall be poping up in a blog post tomorrow!

But as promised I wanted this post to be on the shoot I was on with PalomaViolet Photography you can check out her page here. The shoot was a really girlie, kitsh look on Alice in Wonderland, we wanted it to be located outside but typical british summer weather ruined it so when 'sneaked' into Winter Gardens. All clothing was provided by OUTFIT so check inside there if you want to get your hands on anypieces!

Hope you love the shots and I have some VERY exciting news but I can't even give a hint to it yet so you will just have to wait, muahahahaha.

So hopefully another post tomorrow as I have so much new pieces to show you all :)
See you soon.

Suns Out So LWD Time!

Happy Tuesday all!

A happy day it is too, I've just turned 21 and its sunny out HURRAH! So now that the sun has bothered its lazy ass to make an appearance it only means one thing a little white dress. Tan addicts worse nightmare, but it looks incredible in the sun.

Another busy week again, IT WAS MY BURFDAAAAY, so I headed to the hills to a country village called Galashiels, lovely BUT CRAZY place. The people there seriously know how to party, plus never wear heels in a village situation which hides in a valley, the falls were incredible. I am actually surprised in these photos that you cannot see my black eye, I hit myself in the face with a taxi door, typical Chloe fail moment. The next day we went shopping and out for lunch in Edinburgh, I have so much nice things to show you guys!

Sorry about this post being so quick and rambly today but I can literally feel my revsion books burning the back of my head.

Life As an Intern

Hello all!

Me and the fashion design intern Rebecca Riddick.

I am writing this currently coming out of an illness coma, I'm pretty sure the alcohol consumed the night before has definately got nothing to do with it.

Crazy, I know on a school night.

So this weeks post is on my AMAZEBALLS placement I had at Glasgow based fashion label Saunt & Sinner. I worked there for 8 weeks and its made me so motivated to grab every opportunity, so hopefully this year I'll have loads of little projects planned. Nothing worse than when your in a motivational slump.

Basically I was their PR/Marketing intern but I got so much experience in other fields too, I got to brush up on my styling skills, make up artistry, assisting on locational and look book shoots and even some sewing. Why they gave me a needle, I'll never know. I find buttons challenging.

My normal task list would be to get in for 10am, read over last nights emails, respond to them. Check over all social networking platforms and keep them updated. Sort out any contacts. Make calls. Post office trips, picking up of fabrics. Organise weekly plan list to make sure things got done before the big dates.

So we had tons of models to organise, collect inspirations for shoots then make them into moodboards. Aid with fittings and making a model profile folder.  file and sort out press pack. Plenty of locational shoots for the setting of a fashion film. Promoting the new collection, meetings with branding companies.  THEN tons of planning for the launch night that was revealing our fashion film and giving a preview of our latest collection in a flash show.

Tips On What Not To Do On Placement

  • Treat your bosses like your BEST FRIENDS
  • Show up hungover in lasts nights hair and make up
  • Have massive tantrums about there being a lack of soup in Glasgow's bakerys
  • Let your bosses record you doing the latest new dance craze, Slug life.
  • Wear neon, EVERYDAY
  • Do your bosses makeup in under 6 minutes. More is More.
  • Show everyone 'Inappropriate' youtube videos.
  • Be yourself, now I mean your 'leave that joke at home' self.
  • Dont stand in Glasgow holding a naked mannequin, a tall stick and a bin bag.
  • Dont wake up next to your boss and allow them to see your hyper morning behaviour. (Shes female, and its not what it sounds like).
  • Dont get up at 9.45 everyday when your in for 10.
  • Get an insane Caffeine high, go crazy, then puke.
Avoid that list and your pretty much sorted.

The launch night was amazing, it was held at the Corinthian and the whole place was decorated to reflect the collection. The collection is inspired by the dark side of innocence, so think creepy kids and you've got it. So we hung china dolls by their necks each wearing mini Saunt & Sinner garments. There were candles everywhere and mini displays of product, packaging and inspiration artwork.

Not going to lie the show went brilliant and everyone loved the collection but getting models dressed and ready to go before the runway is THE MOST STRESSFUL THING.

So once the show was over the film was played and I shall give you a link to go watch it here, DEF WATCH IT, its incredible. Then some mingling was in order with everyone that showed up and a well deserved drink or two (x15) was earned. I realise now this post makes me sound like a psychotic alcoholic. Ah well.

I'll leave links to their facebook, twitter and other interesting press things if you fancy being nosey.

This is a lot longer than I thought... So with that see you all soon!

xx
